Dining at The Grand
The number one reason visitors come to DTLA is dining. When The Grand opens to the public in 2022, it will be the only place in Los Angeles where someone can encounter such a wide range of dining options on a single city block. More than 71,000 square feet will be dedicated to remarkable dining, bars and cafés - at street level, surrounding the open public plaza and throughout the amenity floor of Equinox Hotel - with food and beverage service around the clock.

In a survey of high-income LA residents:
enjoy casual, sit-down restaurants
of DTLA visitors dine out when exploring arts and culture venues
The Grand’s dining options reflect a comfortable mix of choices.
Because The Grand is ideally-situated along the Grand Arts Corridor, our restaurants are well-positioned to capture hungry audiences on the way to or from a performance or museum.
We’re dreaming up inventive ways to feed a hungry public, like high-end chef-driven restaurants; novel “on-street” fare served late into the night; and wine and cocktail pairings on The Grand’s center bar, elevated above the public plaza.
The same survey indicates high-income, high-value LA residents want:
outdoor dining or rooftop options
farm-to-table or organic restaurants
Michelin-rated dining experiences
are the most requested retail category
In response, food and beverage selections imagined for The Grand are diverse, ranging from everyday eateries and breezy cafés, to high-end options for celebrated occasions. And everything in between, including a go-to neighborhood market.
All food and beverage options are planned for street-level, surrounding the sweeping outdoor terraces of the public plaza and throughout a dedicated dining floor at Equinox Hotel.
Each kitchen will be unique: delectable, globally-inspired dishes served in brilliant surroundings. Large and small plates offered indoors and out. Street-level cafés and specialty shops.
Healthy. Delicious. Fresh.
